When Women in Science Lead With Possibility

✨ Today I had the honor of keynoting the Women in Science Symposium at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

My workshop, Pivot, Possibility, and Purpose: A Peer Coaching Experience for Scientists Navigating Uncertainty, invited participants to reimagine what’s possible in their careers — even in today’s climate of uncertainty.

We used tools from professional coaching, positive psychology, and human-centered design to ideate expansively, then shifted into peer coaching dyads where participants learned and practiced coaching skills and converged on feasible first steps to move their own career challenges forward.

It was energizing to see the room alive with creativity, courage, and connection — proof that when scientists come together to support one another, new possibilities emerge.

💡 If you’d like to bring an impactful, skills-based session like this to support the scientists at your organization, I’d love to connect!
