Designing Careers with Intention in Challenging Times
This Fall I had the joy of keynoting the Women in Medicine and Science Forum at the University of Pittsburgh — “Expanding Possibilities: A Peer Coaching Experience in Career Design.”
These are uncertain and challenging times for so many in medicine and science. Throughout the forum, attendees raised tough, honest questions about how to sustain purpose and momentum amid shifting landscapes and growing pressures. The discussions were real — and so was the support.
From graduate students to senior faculty, attendees showed up for one another through deeply engaged and thoughtful peer coaching conversations. I left feeling a sense of renewed hope, inspired by the courage and care in the room — and by how many people walked away with concrete commitments to shape their careers intentionally, even in this moment of uncertainty. 🌟
If your organization is looking for a highly engaging keynote or workshop for early- to mid-career professionals in STEMM, I’d love to connect. My sessions blend coaching and human-centered design to spark connection, reflection, and action — ensuring that conversations and insights continue long after the event ends.
