You May Have More Choice Than You Think
Most Scientist Mothers I meet don’t think they “need” coaching.
They think they need:
• more time
• more discipline
But what I see, over and over again, is something else entirely.
I see brilliant women operating inside invisible constraints—assumptions that feel like facts.
Coaching is the process of gently (and sometimes powerfully) bringing those assumptions into the light and asking:
What if this isn’t the only way?
Inside MotherMind Transform, I watch this shift happen in real time.
One Scientist Mother realized she’s been chasing goal posts she set before children, before burnout, before this version of her life.
And for the first time, she pauses and asks:
What if I get to choose new ones?
Not smaller goals.
Not lesser goals.
But more aligned, more impactful, and more sustainable goals—where she works smarter, not harder, and leads in a way that doesn’t cost her (or her team) everything.
Another comes in thinking:
“I either get fully funded next year or I transition to 100% clinical work.”
Black and white. No space in between.
And then we start to expand the frame.
What else is possible?
What can you influence?
Where do you actually have agency here?
And suddenly she’s not bracing for an outcome.
She’s in the driver’s seat of her career.
That’s coaching.
It’s not advice.
It’s not someone telling you what to do.
It’s structured space and thought partnership to:
• challenge limiting beliefs
• see new choices and possibilities come into vision, and
• confidently make intentional choices about how you want to lead, work, and live that work for YOU
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re constantly reacting to everything around you…
There may be more choice available to you than you think.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
