Celebrating Diversity, Determination, and Discovery in Research

I’m deeply honored to be in Nashville this week at the LEADS Summit, offering individual coaching to an incredible group of early career scholars!

LEADS (Leading Emerging and Diverse Scientists to Success) is a career development program in translational research housed within the University of Pittsburgh's Institute for Clinical Research Education, created to support early career faculty and postdocs at partnering Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Through expert training in grant writing and invaluable networking opportunities, LEADS is equipping scholars with the tools they need to successfully submit grants to federal funding agencies by the end of their fellowship.

This program is building the future of science—one brilliant, determined scholar at a time. I’m so grateful to contribute to this mission through coaching, and to witness the talent, passion, and resilience of these emerging leaders!
